Ghana international defender David Nii Addy has been released by Finnish Veikkausliigan outfit Ilves FC, Ghana Sports Online can exclusively confirm.
The 29-year-old won’t be on the books of the club which is based in Tampere in the coming season.
Addy, a member of the Ghana’s gold winning team in the 2009 U20 FIFA World Cup, moved to the Tammelan Stadion in January 2015 after leaving Latvian side FC Riga.
The former FC Porto player earned 19 starts for Ilves who finished fourth in the Championship play-off.
Addy won the 2019 Finnish Cup with Ilves after a 2-0 emphatic thrashing of IFK Mariehamn.
