Hearts of Oak defender Fatawu Mohammed has earned a call-up to the Black Stars ahead of this Month’s Cup of Nations qualifiers, the Phobians have confirmed.
The right-back is being invited to replace injured Harrison Afful who was named in the 23-man squad released by Coach Kwesi Appiah.
Fatawu featured for the Black Stars B team at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, but earns himself a big chance to prove himself with the main Black Stars team.
He will join the team when they open camp next week ahead of the game in Cape Coast.
The Black Stars host South Africa on November 14 before playing Sao Tome e Principe away from home.
