Wakaso Mubarak will return to training today after undergoing a surgery on his hand.
The midfielder sustained a fracture in his side’s League match against Osasuna over the weekend and needed to undergo surgery.
He is all set to join his teammates at training this afternoon ahead of Saturday’s League match against Real Valladolid.
“Wakaso Mubarak has been intervened today in the Mutualia HAR of the fracture in the metacarpus of his right hand that he suffered in the last match against CD Osasuna,” Deportivo Alaves wrote on their website.
“The intervention has elapsed as scheduled and from tomorrow will return to training with the rest of the team.”
This serves as a good news for Black Stars Coach Kwesi Appiah who has named the midfielder in Ghana’s squad for the 2021 Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome e Principe.
