Ghana Premier League side Bechem United are in advanced negotiations with former coach Tom Strand, Sunyani-based Nimdie3 FM has reported.
The Swede would however not be available for the start of the season due to the case of Kingsley Sarfo.
The controversial gaffer is closely associated to the Ghanaian midfielder who was recently released from incarceration over rape charges.
Strand has told the Bechem hierarchy he would only be able to arrive in Ghana to take over the job when he has fully resettled Sarfo into Sweden.
Ghana Sports understands that the coach in deeply involved in finding a new club for the one-time capped Ghana international.
Meanwhile the Hunters have appointed Baba Musah as head coach until the arrival of Strand.
