Keta Business College stunned Mfantsipim School to win the 2020 Sprite Ball Championship.
The Volta Regional representatives repeated a second win over the record holders in a much-tensed final which saw end-to-end battle from the two schools.
Mfantsipim School were looking forward to avenge a defeat to KATABUSCO in the groups when the latter won 32-24.
However KETABUSCO showed class and defied the odds with an impressive show beating the Sprite Ball giants 48-40 to clinch this year’s edition of the competition.
West Africa Senior High, runners-up in the 2019 edition also managed bronze after beating Prempeh College 20-15 in the third placed playoffs.
KETABUSCO point guard Prince Gidisi was adjudged the best player of the tournament with the best Coach award going to KETABUSCO’s Senyo Ashiagbor.
In the Girls category, Shama Senior High from the Western Region ended the dominance of Accra Wesley Girls and Kumasi Girls to win the competition for the first time after beating St. Louis in the final.
Gifty Nkrumah from Shama was named the best player in the girls category with George Hanson also picking the best Coach for leading his side to a remarkable feat.
