The Ghana Boxing Authority has imposed a six month ban on Ghanaian boxer Patrick Allotey for misconduct.
Allotey defied the ethics of the profession by physically assaulting a football fan in public.
The WBO Africa super lightweight Champion was caught on camera beating a fan of Kotoko during the Super 2 clash between Hearts of Oak and Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium leaving the football fan with bruises on his face.
Having thoroughly looked into the matter, the top hierarchy of Ghana Boxing have decided to sideline him for the next six months.
The 29-year-old will thus have his license revoked until he complete serving his ban.
