Sunyani-based Nimdi3 FM are reporting that Medeama second choice goalkeeper Yaw Ansah has decided to quit the club at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old has permanently fallen down the pecking order at the T and A Park and is only regarded a backup for Eric Ofori Antwi who is the undisputed starter.
Ansah’s current deal with Medeama runs in June and he has decided against signing a new deal unless he is assured of an automatic starting role at the club – something that cannot be guaranteed.
Filla Time on Nimdi3 claim the shot-stopper has decided to jump ships and move to Medeama’s cross-city rivals Karela FC.
He signed a new three-year-contract in 2017 after impressing on his initial seasons dislodging Ofori Antwi who had then joined from Asante Kotoko.
Ansah joined Medeama from Ghanaian second-tier side Westland FC.
