Ghana international Abdul Majeed Waris highlighted his supreme scoring form by netting the second goal for Strasbourg in their 3-0 home triumph over Stade de Reims in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
Waris, 28, was deployed in an offensive role from the right and he excelled as he grabbed his second goal in two games.
Ludovic Ajorque produced a great pass that found the ex-Porto man inside the penalty area and he took advantage of the situation to rifle a shot into the bottom right corner.
Waris is demonstrating his adaptability to the French league as he has hit the ground running just a few weeks after joining Strasbourg from Portuguese side FC Porto.
He will seek to maintain his scoring form in the league.
