Hearts of Oak laboured to a 3-2 victory over Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The 25-year-old mammoth striker pulled even for the Phobians when he converted from a spot kick just after the half hour mark.
Youngster Prince Adu Kwabena silenced the Rainbow following when he smashed the ball home in the 28th minute to hand Kwaku Danso’s Hunter’s the lead.
Danso lined up enterprising forward Hafiz Konkoni and former CF Fuenlabrada loanee against the Phobians who were determined to bag the maximum points against the travellers.
Captain Fatawu Mohammed steered Hearts of Oak into the lead with a 63rd minute strike but Hazif, who was making a return from injury, pulled parity for Bechem United once.
Striker Joseph Esso and Kordzi missed begging chances to restore the lead for Hearts in the last 10 minutes of the game.
Just when Bechem thought they had managed a point at the Accra Sports Stadium Kofi Kordzi headed home to claim the maximum points for Hearts and send them to 15 points.
