Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey scored a fabulous score for Atletico Madrid in their 2-2 draw with Valencia in the Spanish La Liga on Friday.
The 26-year-old picked the pocket of the Valencia midfield as he stole the ball from one of them and embarked on an impressive solo run before scoring his second goal of the season in 22 matches. He unleashed a shot from just outside the box after a brilliant solo run. The ball sailed into the bottom left corner.
Partey excelled in the game though Atletico threw away the 2-1 lead he handed them in the 43rd minute.
Whoscored.com rated the Ghanaian midfielder 8.6 which means he won the Most Valuable Player of the Match award.
