Bechem United coach Kwaku Danso is talking tactics ahead of his side’s trip to Ghana’s capital to play guest to giants Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Hunters have won two, lost two and drawn one in the last five games in the Ghanaian top-flight while Hearts have failed to score a goal in their last two games, drawing both against Aduana Stars and AshantiGold.
Bechem’s last trip to Sunday’s venue produced a 1-0 loss to Legon Cities FC while they have failed to pick even a point from their two games on the road.
Though they lost against Medeama in a slender 1-0 loss Danso insists he will deploy the same tactics against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
“We will deploy the same approach as we deployed against Medeama in our last away game. I think its a general decision for our team not to ever play a defensive game anywhere neither at home nor on the road. We will open up and play a 4-3-3 system. We will attempt to score and as such might also concede in the process,” he told Sunyani-based Nimdi3 FM.
“We will opt for a 4-3-3 with diamond shape so at any point in the game we will have one holding midfielder to shield the defence. The wing-backs will also have the freedom to surge forward and join the attack,” he added.
Bechem managed to hold Hearts to a 1-1 drawn game on their last visit to the venue in the Premier League.
