Former Ghana International Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is happy to have played with some of the World’s best players.
Owusu-Abeyie who is now a rapper retired from the game at age 33 after struggling to find his feet.
The former Dutch Youth star who was capped 18 times by Ghana played with some renowned players including Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires, Robin van Persie during his time with English Club Arsenal.
He revels the opportunity to have played alongside some celebrated footballers.
“I always say I played with the best of the best. I was on the training ground with Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires, Robin van Persie. Everyone who was part of the Invincibles – I was there. That was the best time and that’s when I learned the most about the game.”
He featured for the likes of Spartak Moscow, Celta Vigo, Birmingham City, Cardiff City, Portsmouth, Málaga and Panathinaikos.
He was also a member of Ghana’s historic 2010 FIFA World Cup squad in South Africa.
