Ghanaian second-tier side Planners Athletic Club have joined the fight against the coronavirus global pandemic.
With the deadly COVID-19 spreading to more countries and Ghana’s recorded cases on the rise and recording a death case in the West African country – the club has joined other institutions and individuals to fight the virus.
Planners, who are popularly known as the Executioners, halted their training sessions and other football related activities almost a week ago upon the announcement by the Ghana Football Association and the government calling a temporary halt all social events and gatherings.
In a statement Planners say they’ve dispatched all their footballing staff and suspended all training sessions as well as taking their players through safety measures whilst advising them to adhere to safety measures and staying safe.

In our bid to aid the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve suspended all our football activities and dispatched our footballing staff. We’ve advised them to stay clean and safe.
