Struggling Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities have declared defender Stephen Ayiku Tetteh surplus to requirement and have told him to revert to Asante Kotoko, according to Sunyani-based Nimdie3 FM.
The 22-year-old defender signed for Cities on loan from Kotoko in January where he failed to make the grades.
However playing time at Cities has been difficult to come by at the Accra Sports Stadium and the club have decided to ship him out.
Ayiki Tetteh joined Kotoko during the reign of former Coach Kjetl Zachariassen and featured in a couple of matches.
Cities have targeted a number of playings on the transfer market to beef up their squad in the second window of the Ghanaian season which is still opened.
