Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa believes former Leicester City teammate Daniel Amartey is only struggling for game time at the Club because of the different system approach by the Coach.
Musa played together with Amartey before the former left for Saudi Club Al-Nassr.
Amartey, since recovering from a horrifying injury has been unable to make any competitive appearance for the Foxes, a situation which could see him leave the Club at the end of the season.
Reports indicates Leicester City are willing to listen to offers from interested Clubs as the player seemed to have lost favor in the eyes of the technical handlers.
According to the Nigerian International, his former teammate is just not fortunate to have fitted into the style of the Coaches at the Club, same fate he suffered before his departure from the Club.
“Is not about your performance, as you can see like my friend Daniel (Amartey) from Ghana, as you can see he played a lot of games at Leicester but now a days he is not playing so are you going to say he is not performing well? Why was he playing then and why is he not playing now,” he was speaking to TV3’s Juliet Bawuah in an intagram interview.
“So like I said different Coaches like the way you play, some like the way you play, some don’t like the way you play. The only thing is to have another better place to go.”
Leicester City signed Amartey from Danish giants FC Copenhagen in 2016.
