Players of the Black Stars B team will receive outstanding bonuses today for their participation at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations.
The Sports Ministry is said to have contacted the Ghana Football Association to make arrangements for payment to be done to players who represented the country at the competition hosted in Senegal.
Coach Maxwell Konadu’s charges that came second in the tournament had not received their bonuses which included participation fee.
The news will definitely serve as a pleasant one for the players in these difficult times due to the Coronavirus.
Already players have received a pay cut due to inactivity hence the yet to be settled arrears could ease up things.
Ghana could not defend the title after losing on penalties to the host country Senegal.
The team went into the tournament as defending Champions having won the previous edition of the competition in Ghana.
Ghana would lose on shootouts to the host after a 1-1 stalemate in extra time.
