Leading Ghanaian football brains George Afriyie, Winfried Osei Kwaku and Nana Yaw Amponsah will take center stage on Thursday in Ghana and Africa as the trio share their thoughts on the subject Effects of COVID-19 on Football Clubs in Ghana.
The three will be joined by Hearts of Oak Managing Director Frederick Moore and his counterpart from Kumasi Asante Kotoko George Amoako.
George Afriyie, who is the President of Planners Athletic Club, has not been involved in any public commentary for the past seven months but football fans across the country and beyond will hear his opinions on the issues affecting club football today.

Planners Athletic Club President George Afriyie will feature prominently on a live syndicated television programme on Thursday morning.
The former Ghana Football Association Vice President agreed to honour the invitation which was formally extended to him by the Global Media Alliance to be part of the programme which will air to millions of people in Ghana and across the globe.
The subject matter for discussion which is captioned EFFECTS OF COVID-19 ON FOOTBALL CLUBS IN GHANA will be broadcasted live on Ghana’s premier sports television channel GTV Sports Plus+ as well as Happy FM and ETV Ghana. The Confederation of African Football – CAF, which is the continent’s football regulatory body as well as AIPS will all tap into the programme from different parts of the world.
Other speakers on the programme include President of Tema Youth Football Club Winfried Osei Kwaku who has a flourishing relationship with the Planners President as well Nana Yaw Amponsah.
The football public in Ghana is itching to hear the voice of Afriyie who has not made a public appearance for the past seven months.
Winfried Osei Kwaku, popularly known as Palmer in the football circles, is the bankroller of Tema Youth sporting club – the club that spotted and nurtured Atletico de Madrid star Thomas Partey. The two men have decades of experience in club administration and will walk fans and stakeholders through the new dynamics facing club owners today.
Nana Yaw Amponsah also known for his innovative ways of managing his club Phar Rangers is also part of the conversation.
According to reports the Confederation of African Football – CAF, the body in charge of regulating football on the continent, will watch the show live and hopeful glean the ideas of the renowned administrators.
ETV Ghana, GTVSportsplus+ and Happy FM among other networks will pick the show live.
