Former Hearts of Oak steamroller Winful Cobbina popularly known by local fans as ‘livewire’ scored the opening goal for FK Tirana in their 3-1 away win over KF Bylis in the Albanian top-flight league on Wednesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old smashed home the opening goal after outfoxing his marker inside the box before rifling home with a cracking effort in a first-half that ended with a 2-0 win.
Cobbina’s goal set the tone for a resounding victory for Tirana who have opened a 9-point lead at the top of the table.
Tirana could snatch Albania’s sole ticket to play in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds if they are able to keep their focus.
The former Hearts of Oak man has bagged 7 league goals in 11 appearances for Tirana this season.
