Samuel Kwesi Fabin has insisted he is not quitting his post as Aduana Stars head coach despite several media reports linking him with a move away from the club.
Some media reports claimed the former Ghana U17 head coach had been left frustrated after not being paid for months and had decided against continuing at the Dormaa Ahenkro-based club.
But, in an interview with Sunyani-based Nimdee FM, the former Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak head coach has swat aside the reports and assured fans of his return to the club when the greenlight is given for football to return.
“It is not true that I am leaving Aduana Stars. I have not taken any such decision and I can assure the fans that they will see me live in Dormaa Ahenkro when football returns,” he said.
Fabin signed a 12-month deal with the Fire Club in late February and took charge of a few games before the COVID-19 pandemic put the season on ice.
