Ghanaian-born Daniel Kofi Kyereh levelled the scoring for SV Wehen Wiesbaden in their thrilling tie with Dynamo Dresden in the German Bundesliga II on Saturday afternoon.
Kyereh, 24, rushed to the rescue of his team on 23 minutes after his teammate Dominik Franke scored a bizarre own-goal in the early embers of their tie at the BRITA-Arena.
The Accra-born took charge of events and smashed home the leveller for his side after an impressive display around edge of the area.
Wehen suffered a 3-2 loss after the visitors scored a last-gasp winner.
He then went on to play an influential role as he got involved in the sequence of play that led to Moritz Kuhn grabbing the lead two minutes after his goal.
The 23rd minute mark strike has taken his tally in all competitions this season to 7 goals in as many matches from an offensive midfield role.
Kyereh’s contract with Wehen runs out at the end of the season and he is yet to agreed new terms with Wehen or made a comment about his future.
