Magnificently talented Ghanaian youth star Aaron Opoku registered a brace Hansa Rostock in their 3-0 away thrashing of Meppen in the German Liga 3 on Saturday.
The 21-year-old on-loan Hamburg player has now scored 5 times in the league this season for Rostock who are in mid-table spot.
Opoku raced the visitors into a 7th minute lead before grabbing his second goal of the afternoon 20 minute later.
He was substituted on the 65th minute mark following his commanding display for the winners.
The left-winger started the game along with Danish-born Ghanaian defender Nikolas Nartey. However the 20-year-old Stuttgart defender could not continue the game after picking an injury on the 34th minute mark.
Meanwhile Opoku enjoyed a flourishing afternoon as he ended his goal drougt in style.
The winger joined Rostock at the start of the season as a loanee from fallen giants Hamburg SV.
He was born to Ghanaian immigrant parents in Germany and he is regarded as one of the most gifted players within the Liga 3 ranks.
He has represented Germany at U20 and U19 levels. That notwithstanding, he is still eligible to represent Ghana at senior level.
