Former Ghana Coach Kwesi Appiah is reported to have received part payment of his salary arrears.
Reports indicates the Sports Ministry have paid an amount of $70,000 to Kwesi Appiah which represents half of the $115,000 owed.
Kwesi Appiah after his departure as Black Stars Coach demanded his four Months salary arrears which dated back in August 2019.
Meanwhile the Sports Ministry and the Ghana Football Association are yet to confirm payment of the said amount of money to their former employee.
Already Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah has revealed his outfits intention to settle Appiah in due time.
The Ghana Football Association and the former Black Meteors Coach signed a two-year contract in 2017 and tasked Appiah to win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, but only managed a round of 16 finish after losing on penalties to Tunisia.
