Tough-talking Hearts of Oak fan Karim Wayo has clinically rubbished the achievement of Mohammed Polo as a coach and questioned his records during his spell as head coach of the Phobians.
The famous Chapter O founding member wasted no time in delivering a reaction to Polo who claimed on Sunyani-based Nimdee FM that Hearts sabotaged him during his spell at the club.
Polo said on Nimdee FM: “Hearts fans didn’t support me. As a legend of the club I expected them to offer support to me instead they sabotaged me all throughout my period as head coach.”
But, the vociferous fan entered the fray immediately after Polo’s interview and said: “If Polo wasn’t sacked at the right time he would have sent Hearts of Oak to relegation.”
“What has Polo achieved as coach?,” he quizzed.
“Even his academy has collapsed because he couldn’t manage the players well. Some of his academy graduates have turned into masons, shoemakers and trotro drivers,” he punched the coach who has been labelled as a talkative by some section of the football public.
The 63-year-old former Al-Wasl steamroller replaced David Duncan who was SHOCKINGLY sacked by the club’s board of directors for reasons unannounced to the sporting public.
