Al Ain have celebrated legend Asamoah Gyan for his remarkable feat at the Club.
The UAE side enjoyed most of Gyan after the Ghanaian established himself in the Gulf breaking and setting series of records.
Gyan, during his four-year stay with the Club won three successive League titles. He further won the UAE President’s Cup and Arabian Gulf Super Cup.
In addition he finished as the UAE Pro League Top Scorer in three continuous seasons and also claimed the top scorer accolade in the AFC Champions League.
The former Ghana captain was also named the AFC Foreign Player of the Year.
Above all, Gyan’s remarkable 128 goals for Al Ain makes him the second all-time highest scorer for the Club behind Ahmed Abdullah.
In 2011, the 34-year-old made a shocking transfer move from English Club Sunderland to Al Ain in a speculated transfer fee of £6 million having initially spent time on loan with the side.
