Ghana female star Jennifer Cudjoe wrote her name in the history books when she made her Professional debut in Women’s top-flight Football in the United States.
The former Hasaacas Ladies midfielder came off the bench to replace Domi Richardson in the 60th minute and enjoyed the last 30minutes in Sky Blue’s 0-0 stalemate with Reign FC.
Cudjoe, once she stepped onto the pitch became only the second Ghanaian female footballer to feature in the highest level of Women’s Football in the United States after Black Queens captain Elizabeth Cudjoe who enjoyed a spell with Seattle Reign.
The former Black Maidens and Black Princesses star,26, secured a contract with the National Women’s Soccer League side after an incredible time with Asheville City FC in the WPSL.
Her decent performance on the day could force Coach Freya Coombe to hand her a start in the team’s next game against Utah Royals away from home.
Despite representing Ghana at Youth levels, Cudjoe is yet to make an appearance for the Black Queens having been overlooked in recent call-ups despite her consistent form at Club level.
