Defender Christopher Bonney has confirmed his exit from Hearts of Oak.
The right-back ends his two-year spell with the Rainbow Club after the Ghanaian giants refused to extend his deal.
Bonney joined Hearts of Oak in 2018 from Ebusua Dwarfs. The availability of Captain Fatawu Dauda meant he could not command a starting spot in the team.
The former Ghana U20 defender announced his departure from the Club via his social media handle.
“I want to say goodbye after a fantastic time Accra Hearts of Oak,” he posted.
“I want to thank everybody involved with the club for everything over the past years! I’ve had fantastic faw years playing Dean Court learning so much and creating some amazing memories! Thank you to all the staff and players who made me feel welcome from the first minute. Because of you i am now able to make this next step. I would like to thank all the fans who’ve been amazing to me!!!”
The former Kotoko star is now open to offers hence will be hoping to land himself a new deal before the start of the 2020/21 season.
