The Ghanaian started from where he left off last season as he warmed himself into the new season with two fantastic goals.
Ayew scored Palace’s first after tapping home from close range having received a cross from Wilfried Cobbinah.
The Ghanaian got his second on the day with a classy finish before Zaha scored the third for Palace who prepare for their opening League match against Southampton.
Palace will play two more matches against Millwall and Brondby before their League opener.
Ghana midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp also enjoyed some minutes for the Eagles in Saturday’s game.
