Ghana International Kevin-Prince Boateng has declared his willingness to help victims of the Offinso accident which occurred couple of weeks ago.
The ex-AC Milan ace wants to extend a helping hand to families of the deceased after the unfortunate tragedy.
Juvenile footballers who were on their way back from a colts registration exercise met the untimely incident with eight of them losing their lives.
Boateng, upon hearing the news wants to reach out to the families of the victims and offer his support.
“Yes I heard about it and it made me really really sad to be honest,” he spoke to Joy News.
“I read it on social media and called a friend of mine to ask him if is was really true and he told me about it and I felt really sad because I have kits as well. One is 12, one is 6 so I think is is a big tragedy and it hit me hard.
“I googled about it to get more details and the more I read it made me feel sad. So that’s why I wanted to talk to you guys and wanted you to know that I want to help.
“I would like to get in touch with the families, I know is hard and I can’t imagine how hard it is for parents to bury their kids.
“But I just want to help them free their minds and enjoy all the life they enjoyed with their kids.
“My condolence to all the families who lost their kids and speedy recovery to all the other kids who were hospitalized as well.”
The 33-year-old completed a move to Italian a Serie B sure AC Monza from Fiorentina.
