Leicester City have extended the contract of Ghanaian youngster Kamal Sowah.
The Ghanaian midfielder has signed a long-term contract with the Premiership side.
Sowah is currently on loan at Belgian side OH Leuven.
Leicester have decided to tie the player down despite not making any appearance for the Club.
“Talented young midfielder Kamal Sowah has signed a new long-term deal with Leicester City Football Club,” Leicester City published on their website.
The English Premier League side signed the Ghanaian from the Right to Dream Academy two years ago and immediately loaned him out to OH Leuven as part of his development.
He made 29 appearances for OH Leuven last term as they were promoted and has appeared another six times in the Jupiler Pro League this season – including a 1-0 win over Standard Liège in which he scored the only goal.
