Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey is privileged to be named the deputy skipper for the Ghana National team.
Black Stars Coach CK Akonnor appointed the 27-year-old to assist Swansea City star Andre Ayew as leaders of the team.
Partey will be serving as the first deputy captain for the National team with South African-based goalkeeper Richard Ofori also acting as the 2nd deputy captain.
The midfielder is honored to have received the big role in the National team.
He has become a key player for the Black Stars since making his debut in 2017 and has been an integral member of the squad in the last three years.
