Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has hinted Thomas Partey could feature in Saturday’s League game against Manchester City.
The Ghana International only joined the Gunners on Tuesday since his move from Atletico Madrid.
Partey would have his first training session with the Club today keeping him in contention to play on Saturday.
Despite the limited time at his disposal, the 27-year-old is most likely to make the match-day squad for the big game at the Emirates.
“Well he was here just yesterday, he is getting familiar with everything around the club,” Arteta told arsenal.com.
“Today he will have his first training session, so everything has to come really quickly for him.
“We knew that before we signed him that he is fit, he is very willing to start playing and we will see how he goes in the next few days.”
The midfielder was unveiled by the Club on Tuesday after he returned from International duty with the Black Stars.
