Raphael Dwamena’s contract at Vejle Boldklub has been terminated due to Heart problems.
The Danish Superliga side have been forced to cancel the player’s deal following the reoccurrence of his heart issues.
Dwamena, 25, has been battling with a heart problem for some time now, a situation which collapsed his move to English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
After joining Spanish side Levante, the striker had similar issue whiles on loan at Real Zaragoza
Vejle announced the termination of the player’s contract on Monday.
”We are, of course, sorry on Raphael’s behalf, but the parties have been aware from the outset of the consequence that would have been the case if Raphael’s monitoring had exceeded the limit values in the measurement.
”Raphael Dwamena has in his short time in Vejle Boldklub shown a great human format, a professional approach to his profession and a desire to learn from his young players. We will now help Raphael in the new situation.”
The attacker had already netted twice in five matches for Vejle.
He will now receive medical attention and expected to stay off the pitch for sometime.
