Jordan Ayew has become the latest Black Stars player to test positive for coronavirus.
The striker was left out of the Crystal Palace match-day squad against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Ayew tested positive on his return to the UK after Ghana’s international friendlies against Mali and Qatar.
He featured in all two games for the Black Stars.
The 28-year-old confirmed testing positive for the virus.
“Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 & have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance,” he tweeted.
“Thankfully, I am feeling fine & do not have any symptoms.
“I will be cheering the boys on from home & look forward to being back on the pitch soon”
Bernard Mensah, Gideon Mensah, Joseph Aidoo and Kasim Nuhu have all tested positive for COVID-19 after returning from international duty.
