Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have beaten Hearts of Oak to land promising midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old put pen to paper and sealed the move to the Yellow and Mauves who have been chasing after his signature since he ended his spell with Dreams FC.
This becomes the second time Hearts of Oak have failed to land the midfielder.
Hearts came close to sign the talented midfielder in 2018 but he opted to join Dreams FC where he was largely unsuccessful.
Medeama announced on Friday that the midfielder has signed a 2-year-contract with the club and will form part of their midfield as they go in hunt of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title.
In his place the Phobians are close to signing 22-year-old offensive midfielder Razak Ali.
