Ghana coach Charles Akonnor has handed late call up to Asante Kotoko defender Christopher Nettey as replacement for the unavailable Harrison Afful.
Nettey, 22, will tee up with the Black Stars squad on Tuesday as he seeks to nail down a permanent position in the team.
Akonnor has been hit by mass player unavailability due to injury concerns and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Arsenal star Thomas Partey is a major doubt for the game and joins Ajax midfielder Kudus Mohammed is already injured and out of the game as well as Jamie Leweling who has declared that he will not travel to West Africa for the game and the reverse fixture in Sudan.
Wakaso Mubarak, who was handed a return to the squad is also not expected to be available for the game.
Nettey becomes the second Asante Kotoko in the Ghana squad following the call up of goalkeeper Razak Abalora.
