Berekum Chelsea have distanced their self from a public comments made by Club CEO Oduro Sarfo.
Sarfo made a weird comments about the state of the Berekum pitch which received public criticism after Chelsea’s League game against Kotoko.
Many felt the pitch was in a bad state hence not good for football and went on to question the Club Licensing Committee’s decision to approve the venue for League matches.
The Club administrator however made an absurd comments when asked about his view on the state of the pitch in Berekum, this the Club has distance themselves from.
“Berekum Chelsea Football Club distance itself from the public comments from CEO, Oduro Sarfo during a radio interview with Accra-based Angel FM on Monday, November 23, 2020,” part of a statement released by the Club reads.
Berekum Chelsea snatched a vital point at home following a late equalizer from Emmanuel Clottey which saw the game ending 1-1 after Kwame Opoku had given Kotoko the lead.
Meanwhile Oduro Sarfo is expected to appear be queried by the Ghana Football Association over his recent comments.
