Joseph Esso registered his first goal of the campaign in the Dreams FC colours as the Believers became just one of the two sides to claim wins in Sunday’s five games in the Ghana Premier League.

The former Hearts of Oak and Ebusua Dwarfs lethal front-man fired home the opening goal in Dawu in a game that generated controversies for an unawarded penalty kick to Medeama SC. Dreams eventually claimed the win after Medeama had pulled even through Dreams’ former player Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah. The Dreams winner was scored by 19-year-old Issah Ibrahim through a penalty kick on the 90th minute mark.

Elsewhere seasoned goal-scorer Diawisie Taylor registered his second goal of the campaign for Karela United in a goal that won the day for the CAM Park lads. The Black Stars B forward elected him to convert a 76th minute penalty against Inter Allies. The win has now taken Karela to 4 points on the league log and in 5th place.

Emmanuel Clottey scored a last-gasp free-kick to salvage a point for Berekum Chelsea against Asante Kotoko at the Golden City Park after Kwame Opoku had scored first for the Porcupine Warriors.

Meanwhile Liberty Professionals needed a last-minute equaliser from Kwaku Karikari to nick a point against ten-man Elmina Sharks who took a 27th minute lead through winger Benjamin Tweneboah.

In Techiman Aduana Stars had Isaac Kwain sent off in the 69th minute but they held on to a 41st minute opener by Yahaya Mohammed until Frimpong Boateng drew parity for King Faisal at the Ohene Ameyaw Park.
