Patrick Razak won the Most Valuable Player of the game award in Tuesday’s clash between Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League.
The 25-year-old handsomely set up the second goal for the Phobians when he artfully beat Kwadwo Amoako with a combination of skill and pace on the right flanks before weighing in a perfect cross for Obeng Junior to head home to make it 2-1 for Hearts.
Razak returned to the Capital club after a failed spell in Guinea with AC Horoya. The Phobians have been given a gist of what is to come from the winger who also demonstrated his quality to Ghanaian fans when he featured for the Black Stars B in the 2017 WAFU tournament.
In his absence Hearts lacked live and bite on the wings as he set a benchmark for the Phobians two seasons ago.
