Techiman XI Wonders marched on with another convincing show against Ebusua Dwarfs in a 2-0 win at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Friday afternoon.

The game, which was supposed to be played behind closed doors, had fans on attendance as home fans defiled the government’s order of playing behind closed doors.

Dwarfs defender Prince Kpodo handled the ball inside the box in the 31st and the center referee awarded a penalty kick to Wonders. Experienced defender Tetteh Nortey stepped up and slotted the ball past the visitors keeper.

After the break Wonders coach Ignatius Osei introduced former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko winger Ollenu Ashitey who set up Prince Okraku for the second goal as he sealed the win for the home side.

Okraku’s strike Wonders on Friday becomes his second consecutive goal of the campaign as he scored on match day one against Asante Kotoko.

Prince Kpodo became the first player to receive a red card in the season as he was sent off during the course of play.

Wonders are expected to face action from the government through the Ghana Football Association who are the organising body of the Ghana Premier League.
