Ashanti Gold will embark on a 14-hour road trip to Burkina Faso for their CAF Confederation Cup match against Salitas.
The Club was initially expected to make the trip by air but rescinded that decision and opted to go by road.
Ashanti Gold settled to embark on their journey by road as part of the team’s effort to safe cost.
The team will however make a stop at Navrongo where they will undergo their COVID-19 test.
A contingent made up of 20 players, 6 officials and management members will make the trip.
Ashanti Gold will be heading into the reversed fixture with the aim to avoid defeat having drawn goalless with Salitas in the first leg match in Obuasi.
