AshantiGold trainer Milovan Cirkovic has handed a spot in his 18-man squad to promising youngster Emmanuel Owusu for their Ghana Premier League trip to Techiman to face XI Wonders.
Owusu, 19, made his debut for the Miners in the 2020/21 season when he came on as a substitute for Eric Esso in the 5-1 demolition of King Faisal at the Len Clay Park in mid-week.
The Miners began the season without the electrifying youngster who gave an outstanding account of himself during the Normalisation Committee Special Competition and the cancelled 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
In his absence Serbian trainer Cirkovic has played offensive forward David Abagna in his role however, his availability for selection means the Miners now have lethal weapon in their armoury to hunt down their opponents in attack.
AshantiGold are the highest scoring side in the league having scored 13 goals and conceded 7 and sit 4th with 8 points from 4 games having won 2 and drawn 2.
Owusu could be unleashed on Wonders in Techiman.
