Ghanaian boxer Issah Samir was taken out just after three rounds by Kazakhstani boxer Aidos Yerbossynuly in a bout which centered around the WBC Asian Boxing Council, WBA International, WBO Global Super Middleweight Title.
The 31-year-old ring fighter was knocked down during the 3rd round of the bout which was won by the Kazakh opponent in Astana.
This means Issah has suffered his first professional defeat since his entered into professional boxing and must now fight back to redeem his reputation in the division. His record now stands at (19-1).
Samir was billed to challenge Brit Felix Cash in mid 2020 but the bout was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
