Techiman XI Wonders eased the pressure off themselves by beating Karela United 3-1 at the Nana Ohene Ameyaw Park on Sunday afternoon.
Ignatius Osei’s needed the victory to book their second win of the campaign despite their impressive start to the campaign.
Karela, the visitors, were keen to restore their winning run after beating Elmina Sharks in the previous fixture.
Ibrahim Salifu’s brace of assists was the talk of the match as he set up the first goal for Tetteh Nortey inside the 25th minute before turning the architect for the third scored by George Amponsah.
However before Amponsah could seal the win for the host Diawusie Taylor had pulled the visitors level after scoring from a trademark strike.
Meanwhile just 7 minutes after his strike Nana Kobina Osoh restored Wonders’ 1-goal lead.
