Italian-born Ghanaian teenager Brian Oddei made his Serie A debut in style as he came off the bench to feature for Sassuolo in their matchday 17 tie on Sunday.
Oddei,18, replaced Turkish Mert Müldür on 73 minutes at the Allianz Stadium.
The game was tied 1-1 during the time of his introduction but Aaron Ramsey and Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the last 8 minutes to snatch victory for the Bianconeris.
The right-winger appeared on the scene last season after impressing for Sassuolo’s Primavera side.
Before Sunday’s appearance he has sat on the Sassuolo bench 6 times this season without making an appearance.
