German-born Ghanaian striker Richmond Tachie scored the equalising goal for Dortmund II in their 1-1 away draw with RW Essen in the German Regionalliga West on Wednesday.
Tachie, 21, hit the back of the net with a magisterial finish on 76 minutes as the Yellow and Blacks grabbed a share of the spoils in an away game.
The former Wolfsburg youth team attacker has now scored 8 goals in his last 8 competitive games for Dortmund II in Germany.
Essen, who are German Pokal Cup quarter-finalist, took the lead through the experienced Simon Engelmann on the 16th minute but Tachie levelled things up with 14 minutes left on the clock.
Tachie joined Dortmund as a free agent in summer 2020 having completed his stay with Viktoria Koln.
He spent six seasons at Wolfsburg playing through the youth ranks before leaving in 2019.
