Club Consult, management of Kotoko defender Habib Mohammed have denied reports indicating the player has handed in a transfer request.
Reports claimed Habib handed in a transfer request after his burst up with Coach Johnson Smith, coupled with limited playing opportunities.
The defender expressed his anger on the touch line towards his Coach after being substituted in their League game against King Faisal, a act which later saw the player issuing an apology.
He was later reported to have requested to leave the Club, a claim his management has denied.
“We have taken notice of publications regarding the above mentioned issue,” Club Consult posted.
“We wish to state emphatically that @HabibMo17 Habib has not written any such request. The player has a contract with @AsanteKotoko_SC and is ready to stay”
The 24-year-old has an existing contract which runs out in 2022.
