Colchester United attacker Kwame Afriyie Poku has reportedly been included in the Black Stars B squad for the international friendly against Uzbekistan.
The England-based winger was named in Ghana’s squad for the Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and São Tomé e Principe.
Just when the player looks to have earned his maiden call up to the Black Stars first team, he is rather being said to have been relegated to the team B.
Further reports also claim the 19-year-old was not invited by head Coach CK Akonnor hence a late decision to omit him from the squad to join the Black Stars B.
This could be the first time a foreign based player will be joining the Black Stars B team which comprises of entirely home-based players.
