Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have shared updates on the injury recovery of young forward Prince Adu Kwabena.

Adu Kwabena, 17, sustained an injury in February and missed Ghana U20’s AFCON campaign in Mauritania while sitting out of the Hunters Premier League games ever since.

The talented forward was named in the Ghana U20 squad for the tournament in the Northwestern African country but he was unable to recover in time for the tournament.

Meanwhile Bechem United have also been negotiating for points in the Ghanaian top-flight without him and the club has shared updates on his recovery plan.

“As everyone knows Bechem United has taken care of the medical expenses of Adu Kwabena just like we have done for other players in our squad in the past. He is expected to go through the next phase of his recovery plan,” Bechem United CEO Kingsley Osei Bonsu told Ghana Sports Online.

“He is a valuable asset of the club and we have ensured that he gets the best of medical attention from the club,” he added.

Bechem currently sit 8th on the 18-club league table with 24 points and they will need the goals of Adu Kwabena to push for a top 4 finish.

He has 1 goal in 5 games so far in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
