Hearts of Oak striker Victor Aidoo has revealed that he was once rejected by Ghana Premier League sides Bechem United and Inter Allies and he happy he scored against the Hunters in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old notched a brace against the Hunters at the Accra Sports Stadium in a 6-1 mauling in February in a Ghana Premier League clash.
In a long interview with GTV Sports+ Aidoo has revealed that before joining Hearts of Oak he had previously trialed with Inter Allies and Bechem United but he wasn’t offered opportunities at the club.
“My happiest moment at Hearts of Oak was when I scored against Bechem United. Before I came to Hearts of Oak I had trials with Bechem United and Inter Allies but I was rejected by the clubs. I’m happy I scored against Bechem and its the happiest moment in my life at Hearts of Oak,” he told Tilly Quayson on GTV Sports+.
Aidoo has scored 7 goals in 17 appearances for Hearts of Oak on his maiden season in the Ghana Premier League after joining from second-tier side Samartex FC.
