Experienced Ghanaian forward Johnathan Opoku assisted the opening goal for De Graafschap in their 2-2 drawn game with Almere City in the Dutch second-tier league on Friday evening.
The 31-year-old, who is on his first full season at the De Vijverberg, set up the first goal of the game which was scored by Elmo Lieftink.
In the third minute, Jonathan Opoku put the ball well in front of Lieftink, who did not hesitate and hit the ball into the cross from the edge of sixteen with the outside left.
However Graafschap threw away the lead as the visitors came into the game strongly and eventually levelled things up in first-half stoppage-time.
14 minutes after the interval Almere City took the lead through Thomas Verheydt but the host grabbed a share of the spoils for themselves with 5 minutes into added-time.
Opoku left Eredivisie side VVV Venlo at the end of last season to join Graafschap and has already scored 3 goals in 25 league appearances for them so far.
